The United States Chess Federation (USCF) is the governing body of chess in The United States. Their mission is to empower people, enrich lives, and enhance communities through chess. Manasota Chess Center is an affiliate of the USCF, and USCF membership is required in order to play any of our rated tournaments because the USCF manages the chess rating system in the US.
