We are a proud supporter of Chess Kids - the gold standard chess curriculum - and all of our coaches are trained in using it. Group Courses

Our group courses are the perfect environment for beginners to learn and appreciate chess. We offer eight sessions, after which you will have all the tools to play meaningful games and compete with your friends and family. Each class is an hour and a half long, and includes instruction, drills, and time to test your skills against an opponent.

Chess instruction is a great way to learn or improve your chess at any age or skill level. Whether you are a scholastic-aged beginner or an advanced adult, we can connect you with the right coach.

We offer numerous time slots and a variety of different coaches to match your specific needs. Manasota Chess Center coaches use the best-in-class chess method for teaching - the Chess Kids Curriculum - which is additionally bolstered by our coaches' experience and will cater to your individual needs.
